Barcelona continued their impressive start to the 2009/2010 pre-season with a sublime four goal victory over Seattle Sounders. Lionel Messi was without doubt the star of the game, opening the scoring with a precise strike from outside the penalty area. Messi ran at the Seattle rearguard time and time again, coming close to scoring a fine solo goal after he left three defenders behind him. Leo also demonstrated another quality aspect to his game, his passing. He released both Bojan and Henry for one on one chances during his 45 minute stay on the pitch. Messi struck again later in the first half after a beautiful team move.
