Maradona Expresses Pitch Concern, and Names his Team for the Colombia Match

The upcoming match will be played at the Monumental stadium, the home ground of River Plate, which was used for a Los Piojos (The Lice) concert last Saturday.

“It’s disastrous,” Maradona told reporters. “I hoped we could look for another stadium but I was told that River is the only one approved by FIFA. “I’m not bothered about River wanting to earn money but I think they should be able to organize the dates properly,” he said.

“It is embarrassing that we bring stars like (Lionel) Messi, (Carlos) Tevez, (Javier) Mascherano, (Sergio) Aguero to play on that field,” said Maradona.

Meanwhile, Diego revealed his starting line-up for the match, as he keeps faith in his 3-4-3 system.
