According to the Corriere dello Sport, Barcelona star Messi, is urging the club that they should sign Swedish International Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in an exchange for influential striker Samuel eto’o.
Apparently the Barca club are ready to offer Inter Milan a whopping £17 million (GBP) plus Samuel Eto’o. They would probably offer Zlatan in the region on £6.5 million pounds per year and with sponsorship/bonus’ etc it could be rising up to a staggering £12,000,000 a season.

A great honour and privellage it is for anybody when a musician writes a song about you, but latin singer Ariel Prat, wrote a little tune for Lionel. The song is called El Zurdito, which means ‘The Little Left Foot’.
Ariel Prat hails from Argentina and believes also that Messi is the greatest player in the world, The song El Zurdito, was written with pride and enthusiasm, just how Messi plays. This song is no football chant, its a well written studio song and you’ll be able to listen to the album on ‘Negro Y Murguero’ which he has recently released.
In his junior days Ariel played in the same Argentinos Juniors Team as Diego Maradona, naturally the song ‘El Zurdito’ is dedicated to him aswell.
Emotions were flying all around Catalans this week after Lionel Messi plucked up the courage to say what he really thinks about the club and his players. Messi is normally humble and modest, but its hard not to get carried away if you win the Champions League. Messi had the following to say:
“We have demonstrated that we are the best,” he told Sport. “I’m also happy because everyone seems to enjoy our football, whether or not they are Barca fans.
“All over the world, I’ve heard people saying that they have been enchanted by us. This type of football deserves to be rewarded with titles,” he added.
The 21-year-old continued, “We had the opportunity to go down in history as a great club and we have done it. I think it will be very difficult for something like this to be repeated.”
Media speculation seems to always build around and after big european nights, the final has been no exception, but this time for Messi, its another positive.

However, Messi is always keen to say that Maradona is a player who could never be matched or emulated.
